sn00ce_i.jpg This one is Tim Puckett's 17th discovery. At the time of it's discovery this SN was the brightest in the sky. This one was originally announced as having a host galaxy of UGC 4159. It was quickly called to my attention by both Tim Puckett, and Chris Spratt that this wasn't possible. After I corrected it, I got several e-mails stating that I had the wrong galaxy marked. Some days you just can't win. A corrected IAUC came out the next day. We have a DSS Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal. Icon created from Tim's discovery image.
