Supernova 1999gs in NGC 4725

This is a prediscovery image of 1999gs in NGC 4725 taken by Marco Migliardi on December 23.21 1999, during the CROSS Program with the Col Druscič 20" "Helmut Ullrich" telescope.
This image was taken 5 days before the "discovery" image of 1999gs which was taken by LOSS this image shows a significantly brighter SN than the discovery image shows. It should be noted that this supernova was most likely very old (by several months) when discovered.
