This is another
LOSS discovery. The rules of IAUC say that you
have to have two observations before you can report an SN, and Weidong
Lee had one, but no confirmation. So, he dropped an e-mail to
isn-chat and vsnet-alert, and promptly got confirmation from
Puckett observatory. It's nice when things work the
way they are supposed to.
