image Discovered by Stu Parker (BOSS) (New Zeland).   Finding two supernovae at the same time in the same galaxy is a rare thing.   2016bfu is a Type Ia-91bg and 2016bfv is a Type II.   This supernova is in the Constellation Columbia.
