Supernova 2006td in LEDA 74050

sn06td_i.gif Discovered by Wolfgang Kloehr (Germany).   For the second time ISN_Chat e-mail list did it's job.   As the weather was bad in Germany, he posted this possible discovery to the list. Several people responded. By the time of the announcement several confirmation images had been made. We have a DSS Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal.  Icon generated from the discovery image.   This supernova is in the Constellation Andromeda.
