Supernova 2006ep in NGC 214

sn06ep_i.gif Discovered by is shared by Lick Observatory Supernova Search (USA) and amature Koichi Itagaki (Japan).   This one is a type Ib/c (after the supernova has evolved we will be able to tell which one).   We have a DSS Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal.  Icon generated from the LOSS discovery image.   This supernova is in the Constellation Andromeda.
