sn06d_i.jpg Discovery by Brazilian Supernovae Search aka BRASS (Brazil) A farily bright type Ia which maxed out at Mag 14.0.   The host galaxy makes a nice pair with edge on MCG -01-33-32.   We have a DSS Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal.  Icon generated from the BRASS's discovery image.   This supernova is in the Constellation Virgo.
