sn04bu_i.jpg Discovered by Tom Boles.   This one is a peculiar type Ic (hypernova) found on the rise.   We have a DSS Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal.  Icon generated from Tom Boles's discovery image.  This supernova is in the Constellation Serpens Caput.
