Supernova 2009I in NGC 1080

image Yet another discovery by CHASE (Chili).   A fairly bright type Ia supernova found early in 2009.   We have a DSS Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal.  Icon generated from the CHASE discovery image.   This supernova is in the Constellation Cetus.
