Supernova 2007ci in NGC 3873

sn07ci_i.gif Discovered by Tim Puckett and T. Crowley (USA).   We have a DSS Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal.  Icon generated from the KAIT image.   A possible sumluminous type Ia found near maximum light.   Host galaxy makes a nice pair with NGC 3875.   This supernova is in the Constellation Leo.
