sn05da_i.gif Discovered by Lick Observatory Supernova Search (USA).   This is a peculiar type Ic supernova, which are sometimes associated with hypernovae.   We have a DSS Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal.  Icon generated from the discovery image.   This supernova is in the Constellation Hercules.
