Supernova 2005bc in NGC 5698

sn05bc_i.gif Two independant discoveries for this one, one by amateures Tim Puckett and L. Cox and the other by the professionals at Lick Observatory Supernova Search.   This is a young type Ia.   We have a DSS Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal.  Icon generated from the discovery image.   This supernova is in the Constellation Bootes.
