Supernova 2005ay in NGC 3938

sn05ay_i.jpg Discovered by Doug Rich (USA).   A bright type II, found in a galaxy that has had two other recent supernovae.   We have a DSS Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal.  Icon generated from the discovery image.   This supernova is in the Constellation Ursa Major.
